Got a star tutorial somewhere in my gallery if you want to create them yourself
I think this piece here [link] shows my starfield creation a little better
The only thing I could say about the layout, is your stars transparency need to be adjusted more according to the darker gas clouds.
On the top left. there is an effect that appears to add multiple gas layers, and a bright star...maybe try to add some highlite reflections on the edges of them. It will add a lot more depth.
